The Multi-Trac Fresno SS Groover is a popular tool for creating non-skid surfaces on safety ramps, highways, bridges, and driveways. It produces rough grooves on roads and ramps to ensure water flows off the surface and provides traction. The tool features a high-quality #18 gauge stainless steel blade for a smooth working surface and a quality finish. The 5″ wide blade glides smoothly through concrete, while the 2′ long Fresno creates 1/4″ deep, 1/4″ wide grooves spaced 3/4″ apart. These parallel lines offer a safety tread effect for high-traffic areas such as ramps, driveways, and sidewalks. Fresno’s square ends allow users to work against forms and walls for even coverage. A 21″ long, 1/2″ square steel mounting is centered on the 24″ blade to help keep the trowel flat. A strong threaded cast aluminum bracket is attached to the Fresno, featuring teeth to hold the handle at a set angle without slippage. The single tilt bracket enables the handle to move 180° for back-and-forth movements.
